Testing a Porsche Carrera to possibly buy it, but want to feel it first, who is liable incase of accident?

Just incase I have an accident, who would be liable? Trust me, I'm not trying to smash this thing up - I just can't afford to buy two of them.

You should also consider that such a car may be expensive to insure. Check your insurance rates before buying one, for example here - carquotes.sinfree.net

You are ultimately liable in any accident you cause. Unless you sign a legal document waiving all liability to you in case of accident. If the car is registered to someone else their insurance will probably have to pay for damages, but then they will sue you for payment.

If it is a dealership they got you covered, if it is an individual then
I would not let it be driven without insurance arrangements from
the buyers agent.
